Since late August most of the Samba Schools are already with the Samba Theme for the next year ready.

Rehearsals start in September only once a week and as Carnival gets closer and closer they become more frequent.

This pictures were taken during the sencond tecnichal rehearsal.

Tecnichal rehearsals take place three to four weeks before and are performed in the Sambodromo – the Samba Avenue – the actual place were Carnival will happen.
